  	The occupation of "Sea Captain - deceased" appears on his illegitimate daughter Sarah Ireland's marriage certificate to James Mills in 1863. She recorded her father's name as James Ireland and his occupation as Sea Captain which was apocryphal to hide the fact that her mother never married him. He would always have been away at sea ... Sarah's birth certificate revealed the true name of her father - James Mickleburgh. It's doubtful that she ever saw her own birth certificate.
