CHADWICK - HUGHES. - Sept. 16, at St. George's Church, Stockport, by Rev. C.
      R. Troughton, curate, Frederick Vincent, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.
Chadwick, of 51 Beech-road, Cale Green, to Beatrice, only daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. F. Hughes, of "Oakroyd," Kennerley-road, Stockport. The bride, who
was given away by her father, was dressed in ivory satin beaute, overdress
of silver lace and orange blossom, and carried a shower bouquet of white
carnations. Bridesmaids were Misses Kitty and Evelyne Chadwick (sisters of
bridegroom), who wore Wedgewood blue georgette with hats to match, and
bouquets of pink carnations; also two little bridesmaids, Misses Joyce
Chadwick (niece of bridegroom) and Jessie Atherton (cousin of bride), both
prettily dressed in shell pink and carrying posé bouquets of sweet peas. Mr.
Fred Hughes (brother of bride) was best man, and Mr. Stanley Brooks
groomsman. Organ selections were given by Mr. Harold M. Dawber, F.R.C.O.
After the ceremony a reception was held at Crossley's Cafe, where the couple
were the recipients of hearty congratulations, later leaving for Norbreck
for the honeymoon. The bride travelled in cinnamon brown.
